BIRTHFIT Foundational Pillars
Fitness: To functionally train throughout the Motherhood Transition in all planes of motion to develop competencies and physical skills as well as enhance the main metabolic pathways.
Nutrition: To cultivate a relationship with food that is rich in color and nutrients from a wide variety of animals, fish, plants, fruits, fats and starchy tubers, while nourishing the body through the different rhythms of life and the female cycle.
Mindset: To create space between a stimulus and a response, to embrace a growth perspective, and create action around values in order to make decisions from a place of love rather than fear.
Connection: To open pathways from the cellular to the metaphysical level wherein a human can experience and express optimal health in body, mind and soul.
BIRTHFIT is so much more than your typical birth education program or a way to "bounce back" after the baby. Far from it. BIRTHFIT EMPOWERS you as a woman to take control of your own pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. We challenge the status quo by reading, researching, experimenting & consolidating all the common sense, time-honored wisdom & recent studies we can find and present that information to you through various education models. We unconditionally support YOU—the birth mom & birth partner—to make the best decision for you and Baby.
To cultivate awareness and enhance education throughout the motherhood transition by developing and producing one of a kind BIRTHFIT experiences through in-person classes and distance learning so that a woman has the space to make her own informed, intuitively guided choices.

Meet the Team
Molly Powell, Regional Director
Molly is the Regional Director for BIRTHFIT Milwaukee, and is proud to lead this movement in her hometown. She also serves on the blog committee for BIRTHFIT HQ.
Molly is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach, Certified Personal Trainer & CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. She is also training to obtain ICEA Childbirth Educator certification and Precision Nutrition certification. She's attended two Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization trainings: Exercise 1 and Women's Health.
In addition to her Regional Director role, Molly has her own Wellness Coaching practice, Molly Powell Wellness and is a Beautycounter consultant.
Molly is passionate about fitness, nutrition & wellness, music, all things birth and babies, the outdoors, and safer skin care & cosmetics. Molly believes that wellness is the composition of loving relationships, creative outlets, a spiritual practice, stress management, self love and care, exercise and nourishing food. She strives to educate and empower women in the community to be healthy and happy during their Motherhood Transition.
Molly lives in Elm Grove with her wonderful family: her husband, Chris, daughter, Olivia (3) and son, Kai (1).
Dr. Kenzie Burgei, DC
Dr. Kenzie received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences and graduated as Summa Cum Laude and salutatorian in 2014. She is currently the co-owner and Chiropractor at Wisconsin Family and Sports Chiropractic in Mequon, Wisconsin. As a chiropractor, Dr. Kenzie strives to help women have an optimal state of health before, during, and after pregnancy, through movement patterns in order to establish a proper foundation. After all, Movement is Life. She currently resides in Cedarburg, WI with her husband, Nick, and dog, Baxter.
